How I work
Understand
I start by understanding the system—not just the request
I immerse myself in the problem through research, data, business context, and conversations with the people closest to it. I question assumptions and follow what I learn, because the problem we're asked to solve isn't always the one that needs solving.
↓
Find Patterns
Complexity becomes manageable when patterns emerge
Rather than collecting research for its own sake, I synthesize information into themes, mental models, opportunity areas, and strategic insights. My goal is to separate symptoms from root causes and uncover the principles that should guide product decisions.
↓
Create Shared Understanding
Great ideas only matter if we understand & support them
I use workshops, journey maps, frameworks, prototypes, diagrams, and visual storytelling to make complex thinking visible. Bringing stakeholders along throughout the process creates alignment, improves decisions, and builds momentum before significant investments are made.
↓
Design With Systems in Mind
Every solution becomes part of a larger ecosystem
Instead of optimizing individual screens, I think about how experiences connect across products, teams, and customer journeys. I look for opportunities to create reusable patterns, scalable frameworks, and consistent experiences that strengthen the overall system rather than solving a single isolated problem.
↓
Learn & Evolve
Shipping is another opportunity to learn
Product design doesn't end at launch. I continue learning through customer feedback, analytics, experimentation, and collaboration, refining both the product and my understanding of the problem. Every project leaves behind stronger products, better documentation, and reusable knowledge that helps future teams move faster.
